Hope you're having a great summer. It's been a busy couple of months at Hack Circus Towers! We've been preparing the next two issues, making plans for 2017, and have just launched a new series of the podcast.
Episodes will be going out once a week over the next couple of months, and we've already got two great shows up waiting for you.
The latest episode is all about dance. It stars wonderful Liam Francis and Hannah Rudd, dancers at leading contemporary dance company Rambert and went up yesterday. We talk mastery, obsessiveness, injuries, spatial superpowers, technology and more. Check out the direct feed or the iTunes link.
Last week's show was themed on survival, and features Anna Chrystal Stephens and Glen Stoker, artists with a keen interest in sustainability and self-empowerment, who recently hiked 60 miles across town and country, lighting fires with tampons and eating nettles, before arriving at the Site Gallery in Sheffield to begin their residency and have a shower. Here's the iTunes link or the direct feed, if you prefer.
And all the old shows are still there, with similar themes (and sometimes the same people) as the magazine. Previous interviews include chats about synaesthesia, acoustic illusions, life extension, music and emotion, hypnosis, magic, comics, creativity and more.
Keep an eye out on your doorstep for a fantastic issue 11 of the magazine (due out in September), and more news from Hack Circus coming soon.
